SECURITY CHECKS: When accessing the monument the Colosseum visitors will be asked to pass security checks, even when entering with pre-booked access
NOT ALLOWED: Please make sure you DO NOT have pointed big umbrellas and knives of any sizes with you. Liquids are allowed but only if in plastic bottles. Remember that you can refill your containers in the fountains inside the Colosseum.
BAGS: Back bags are allowed inside the Colosseum if very small in size; shoulder bags or handbags are permitted if regular size.
In adverse weather conditions the Colosseum administration may close the arena floor for safety reasons. In this case you will enter through a different entrance and spend longer in other parts of the Colosseum

Please choose the start time you prefer: morning tours are available all year, afternoon start times may vary depending on the time of the year: from April to end of October afternoon tours runs at 3 PM and 3.30 PM, during winter time instead they run at 1 PM
