Things to know before the tour
- Bring Your ID : The Colosseum requires all visitors to present a valid ID or passport for entry ā even children
- Book in Advance: Arena access is limited to a small number of daily visitors
- Wear Comfortable Shoes : The tour includes walking over ancient stone pathways
- The Colosseum and Forum are mostly outdoors with little shade. Bring water, sunscreen, and a hat, especially in summer
- Large backpacks, luggage, and tripods are not allowed
- Small bags will be inspected at security

- Security Checks: When accessing the monument the Colosseum visitors will be asked to pass security checks, even when entering with pre-booked access.
- Not Allowed Glass bottles, remember that you can refill your containers in the fountains inside the Colosseum.
- Back bags are allowed inside the Colosseum if very small in size; shoulder bags or handbags are permitted if regular size.
- Not allowed: No Drones no knife are permitted
- No place to store luggages
